When a verse in the Quran starts by addressing Muslim men and women like the opening verse in this post, you know already that Islam supports equality between the genders. It’s speaking to both men and women at the same level, wavelength, status, whatever you want to call it as long as the balance is egalitarian for Muslim men and women.

This is to support the ending statements my co-author asserted in part 1 of this quarterly collaboration; Islam doesn’t advocate any sort of violence against women nor does it think women are below or above men.
