This Crime Thriller takes us on an adventure that is the life of Issata Waree, a black Muslim accountant, who is known for her rogue and daring lifestyle. Issata started out as a certified Accountant who was awesome at her job but crossed to the dark side of engaging in shady deals when the money from her legal job wasn’t enough for her. There, things don’t go as envisaged and she has to pay for her actions.

At first, the book seemed a bit too technical for me. The beginning is filled with lots of accounting talk and that made it quite a slow and boring read for me. But once I got past those parts, I became intrigued.
