I hope it’s not too late to wish you a great Arafat. May Allah accept our fast and acts of ibadat, amiin.
I remember the old days when we used to travel to my grandfather’s (May Allah grant him jannat) on the day of Arafat. Each year, we looked forward for the day of Arafat so that we could be reunited with the big extended family in another town we would drive up to. We would cook plenty of food and take it with us. After we’d broke the fast, my uncle (legal guardian) whom I call Dad, would take us to the glacier (the ice cream boutique). Our joy was indescribable.
