Nothing but Love is about two soulmates, Amash and Barakah, who meet several times before their fate is finally sealed. Amash and Barakah made me want to relive those very doubtful, thrilling, and lovesick first moments accompanied by love declarations all over again.
Zaneer also has many subplots interwoven in this lovely tale. The drama takes another turn when Barakah’s past tries to catch up with her and her meddling in-laws won’t give up. Through it all, we realize that a good character and a steadfast faith always go a long way and even provide unasked retribution.
I read and write a lot of romance stories amongst other genres. But, if most love plots are crafted like Zeneefa Zaneer‘s Nothing but Love, people like me will never feel jaded from reading PG13 romance love stories. I enjoyed reading this Sri Lankan love story with tidbits of Islamic French History.
