  1. Muslim sex scenes? I gotta read one of these books, ASAP 😛 ! Uh, I mean, for learning purposes only, of course…yeah…

Lol anyway, no that was a great interview. And I think it’s cool that we have Muslim women like you in this field too so people who are into these types of fiction don’t have to only go to Nicholas Sparks or the Fifty Shades series or whatnot.

Do you have homosexual/lesbian scenes or characters in your books too? If not, do you plan to include them?

Haha! Of course learning purpose *wink*. Thank you! I appreciate the support truly :). Our voices need to be heard. We don’t play cards behind closed doors and people need to realize that as Muslims we have needs too. In Oblivion, the protagonist has homosexual fantasies but I haven’t brought myself to pen the scene for several reasons but I plan to iA because I have a few characters who are transexuals and homosexuals. We have to be realistic. There are gay Muslims and homosexuality is not the greatest sin out there. Shirk and idolatry are.

      • Nice! How do you feel about sexual explicitness in video form? Do you feel it’s pornography or something good to express yourself in similar to the written form? Does it depend on certain points?

Oh, I can’t remember if I gave you my email: if you ever wanna chat or discuss anything.

Heh…I have mixed feelings about it. I guess it depends of the way the scene is executed. I mean I watch romantic movies and I watch G.O.T. I also saw 50shades … and I was ok it. If a scene is too much for me to handle, I look away you know what I mean, lol!

I don’t think you shared your email in the past. Awesome, thanks for the email. It would be good to pick your brain if I need to pen a new male voice in the future insha’Allah haha! That’s how I pen true characters :).
