“O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not
that ye may despise (each other)…” (Quran 49:13)
Assalamu Aleikum dear bloggers,
You know what irks me most in our Ummah? It is the Muslims that become adventurers by traveling to another country than their own, do everything to become a citizen, and then turn around and hate with passion the country that made it possible for them just because it is originally a non-Muslim nation. Why did you immigrate in their country in the first place? To profit of their success and deny any association with them? It is sickening! What kind of message are we sending by acting this way? The Quranic verse at the opening asks us to love every human being because in the end, we are all brothers and sisters.
In addition, what do France, England, America or any other big/developed country out there that has a higher volume of immigrants have in common? They all have a fast growing Muslim nation. Several centuries ago, you could label them non-Muslim countries. Several years ago, you could do the same. Today, these labels have no place because that’s changing. You can’t demonize these nations because your mind doesn’t see the change or because you are not progressive. Furthermore, you most certainly have people of your own Ummah leaving in all these countries. Being progressive and fancying bidats are not the same just to be clear.
Please let us be open-minded Muslims when it comes to these matters.
